Nerdeavors: Nerdy Endeavors!

I wrapped up a big thing today.

In between everything else I've been up to, including my daily updates here, I've been slowly grinding away on one of my big nerd projects. This project, the Technical Reference, is an accounting of transcendental technologies and the characters who are affected by (or are even comprised of) such, for use in my customized role playing game rule systems. Today, I finished work on this beast!

One of the cornerstones of my nerd writing, the completion of the Technical Reference makes me three fourths of the way done with my character-centric rules compendiums, leaving just two more. One is dedicated to aliens, which I will likely have a bit more fun working on, and the other is a sort of mish-mash collection of character types that combine two or more other types into one.

I probably won't be getting on either of these for the foreseeable future, for various reasons, but I wanted to at least crank one more of these big books out before I became even busier. And I did! So even if I don't have time to do a whole lot of writing (aside from ramblings here, of course), I can at least rest easy knowing I managed to sort out the Reference. But what is in the Technical Reference, you ask?

Primarily, it's a means of building technology users, cybernetic organisms, and robotic entities for use in my Universal Heroes system. Of course, there's a bunch of flavor to give you the proper mindset for such characters, along with rules for utilizing various common technologies, from firearms to computers to powered armor. And naturally, a comprehensive invention system to further improve your character!

So, unless you're tired of me gibbering about my nerdeavors (yay for portmanteaus!), go on and check it out here!
