Eighteen years of nerdery. Good gravy.

Nerdery alert.
On this particular date eighteen years ago, I started posting a lot of the nerdy things I'd written for a nerdy hobby onto my brand new, nerdy web site. This site, Technohol 13, has remained online ever since, oddly enough. Not only that, though, but I continue to add to the inexplicable thing to this very day! That's right, the 13 is still going strong, despite everything else going on in my life.
Oh sure, I'm not updating it quite as much as I used to, no. But despite my finally losing the capability to augment the 13 on a daily basis, I am still going strong with the many and various projects I started, oh, eighteen years ago. Heh. What this probably tells you is that I'm really good at starting things, but finishing things, on the other hand, is just a little bit harder for me.
This is partly because I have the attention span of a magpie on crystal meth, and partly because the projects I take on are usually pretty large. Were I able to dedicate several hours a day to this work of the ages, I'm sure I'd wrap it all up in just a few scant years, but you know. Like many others, I have to work, and I have to adult, and you know, it's all about priorities.
And I'm perfectly okay with that. I imagine all six of the people who regularly check the 13 for updates aren't too amused with this, but eh. Someday, when I can actually make a living writing nerd things, I'll be a lot more regular about doing so, rest assured. But until then, which won't happen until I get ahold of a copy of Photoshop ™ and Acrobat ™ here we sit.
But lest you think I'm whining about anything, I assure you that I am not. No, I'm still happy with the progress I've made this last year on the 13, and I intend to keep on making it. Heck, one major piece of the biggest project I've opted in on is almost done, and will likely be sorted out this very month! So if you get bored at all, head on over to Technohol 13 sometime.
It's possible there might be something over there you might dig. Possible, anyway.
