Links of the Damned II: Fun Edition

In the course of the last several years, I have stumbled across a wide variety of sites that are, for the lack of a better term, hypnotic. They are the sort of thing that I can't help but look at and once I see the initial shocker, I just have to dig deeper. In the interest of exorcising these demons, I've decided to share some of these links with you. Of course, I have to Disclaim for some of you.

Some of these are absolutely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt Not Safe For Work. So bring them up on a co-worker's computer!

Getting Punched in Slow Motion: this is a video that I can watch over and over and over. I don't recall who sent it to me first, but every single time I'm in a bad mood and I sit through it, it peps me up super-fast. I don't really need to explain what it is, based on the title of the video (and the associated link), so if you want to see people getting punched in the face, you know, in slow motion, check this out. It's video glee!

Recursive Grandma: there's no audio or real video - just the one GIF-y image. However. It's so hypMOTic and horrifying that once I click on it I just can't stop. And the self-hating part of me can't stop myself from checking it out again every now and then. No it's not a goatse, and no it's not a rickroll, it's the RECURSIVE GRANDMA. She will draw you down into a brain-melting infinity of naggery - hit it at your own risk.

Texas House Sucked Into Wormhole: thar be no video here, just photographic evidence of something awesome that went down a while back. While no actual wormhole was involved, this was a neat art exhibit someone put together on a condemned house (presumably before it was torn down). It's just neat, and something I'd have checked out had I a) knew it existed and b) had the $ to go down to Tee-has and poke around.

Awkward Boners Dot Com: I could go on about the content of this site, but why? It's just there for the gag images (and I do mean gag), but most of said gags are hilarious. Or creepy. Or sad. Every couple of days, this site uploads yet another picture that tries its hardest to remind you that, if you ever get an erection where anyone can see it, cover it up. 'Cause if you don't, hilarity will quickly ensue world-wide.

Also? Never, ever wear a Speedo.

Spider-Man World Tour: Dasvidanya! no this isn't actually Spider-Man, but what it is is some wacky fellow doing weird acrobatic business in a bleak urban environ - somewhere in Russia, to be exact. The weird rappity stuff doesn't really do anything for me, but watching two folks doing all kinds of suicidally stupid stuff while somehow not splitting their heads open just makes my day. Check the 'Spider-Man' out!

Giant Vulva Bicycle Taxi is Freudian Wet Dream: we featured the VULVA scent last time on Links of the Damned, but this time we're sharing one that you can ride around in. Literally! This Finnish artist has produced a gigantic mobile pussy you can ride around in while she pedals behind, which is simply beyond cool. I think I'd totally pay for that, just for the opportunity to heckle people as I rode by.

Yes, I am a creep, thank you very much.

The Alternate History Theme Park Where Dinosaurs Fought in the Civil War: I don't have anything to add to this. All I know is that if I ever find my way to Virginia, I'm not going to continue on to Washington D.C. in order to take in the real history of our country. No, I'm going to divert to this place to check out the single most awesome models of a hilariously constructed fake history. Dinosaurs rule you.

Burger King: Veg City, Airport: this ad is but one of many that were used in Europe? What you want to do is look hard at this particular image, in order to see all the hidden horror. That poor onion is going to be walking funny for a week! Oddly, a few of the Politically Correct types had a problem with these. I can't imagine why. Bonus ad: Burger King: Veg City, Airport!

Extras Series 2 Daniel Radcliffe: if you're used to him from his time in the eight (well, only six have been out so far, but you know, the other two are coming) Harry Potter films, this clip just might make you pee yourself. The title doesn't give you a hint of what you're about to encounter, so I leave you with the element of surprise. It's two minutes long, but I guarantee it's two minutes of your life you won't regret spending!

Shipment of FAIL: as always, the Shipment of Fail has tons of regularly updates images - of Wrongness. I'd comment on one or two currently featured on the front page but by the time you read this they'll have slipped well beyond into the depths of the site. So head on over to this one - and keep clicking for a few pages. You'll get a regular dose of glee each time you stop in. So stop in, already!

Unless you're trying to cut back on your daily dose of glee.

'300' Briefs: I've always been a fan of the Museum Replica people. A bona fide nerd, I have always wanted to just get several grand together and order a whole bunch of geekery for my own, personal use. From the monk's robe to the Vash the Stampede Trigun trenchcoat, I love this site. But the item pictured here, this (while seemingly accurate) seems like something the Sexy Other would make me wear when I've been bad.

Zombie Harmony: a gag dating site built by the people who run an actual one, Zombie Harmony is your place to go if, being a lonely zombie, you're looking for some decrepit corpsey company. The site itself gives me a chuckle, and would almost prompt me to check out the actual dating service if, you know, I weren't already taken. But at the very least, head on over to the Zombie Harmony site for a good laugh.

And last, but absolutely not the least:

The Eternal Moonwalk: shortly after his overdose/suicide/murder/whatever, a whole lot of people suddenly decided they liked Michael Jackson again. Anyway, one enterprising group decided to build a sort of Internets shrine to the man(?). This, the Eternal Moonwalk, is exactly what is written on the tin, a sort of non-stop moonwalk comprised of segments sent in by people all over the world. The WORLD!
