I actually went outside today.

Cars of Yellow Springs.

Today was a very nice day.

You see, it got up to sixty five or so degrees here in Yellow Springs, so me and Brenda decided to walk out to downtown and do, well, things. This mostly started as us getting in a walk mostly to do some exercise, and that we did. This mostly because we overdressed, having underestimated just how warm it was going to get, and me in sweatpants and a trenchcoat, well, was definitely overdressed.

Yes, I have a picture of me in that particular ensemble, but I don't have it here, so I guess you'll have to go without. Sorry! So while we were downtown in Yellow Springs, and dodging the gangs of geriatric bikers who swarm to the nasty biker bar on the edge of town from nearby towns that apparently don't have biker bar worth hanging out in (or something?), we got some lunch.

After eating at a local deli that makes a mean sandwich or two, along with a bunch of other things, we walked over to the gynmasium at the nearby college for various reasons. While on their campus, we saw a girl doing an impromptu tightrope session between two trees, using what looked like an industrial cargo strap. I should've taken a picture, but I felt awkward asking someone to do that.

I've been having even more people problems than usual, I'm afraid. I need to work on that.

Since I lacked the nerve required to photographically document this, I instead offer you an image of a random car, taken on the campus of Antioch College. You may gather that many of the locals support this particular candidate, and you'd be right. Yellow Springs is an odd island of sanity in the toilet bowl of teabagger scum that is Ohio. Which is another reason I like this place so much.

Yellow Springs, not Ohio in general.
