An end to the interlude.

November 28th, 2009

Took my lazy ass a few weeks, but I finished overhauling the site. The Imagery is now repaired, the numbers having the proper coloration for the style sheet you have selected, instead of rotating with the automatic deal even if you've gone ahead and chosen a color on the deal at the bottom of the 'details' page. I even resized all the images on the imagery to fix properly - no more missing edges!

And I fixed the one deal on the details page since it still pointed at the old style sheet's image deal. That's it, everything seems to be in order, unless I missed a color / logo combo somewhere and don't realize it. But if I did, ah well; nobody seems to notice when I do that sort of thing - or doesn't bother yelling at me when I do. They must be here because they <3 me. Or something.

You <3 me, don't you?

So pick a color and run with it if you want, or simply ride the random color change bus, either way. It's all working again - and working right this time. Why the sudden interest, you ask? Well, someone has been pestering me to add some of the images I've been collecting over the last few months of fail-mobiles to the site, if only so the rest of the world can share in their awesome.

So I figured I may as well finish fixing the place up, even if most folks won't actually see much of a difference here compared to how it was. Though it is different. The style sheets are positively tiny now, compared to what they were - even if that's a non issue either way; the site is so minimal in general (by intent) that that loading time for it is mostly irrelevant.

Anyway.

So here it is, version 4 of the Banality. I suppose I should get back to my regularly scheduled bitching and moaning (though usually just bitching) about just about everything, if only to get people hanging out around here again. I haven't been too good with the screaming and the yammering of late, much less the incoherent image gallery-ing, but I'm gonna try and fix that again.

Unless I literally run out of things to say. Though that may take a while, and really, I wouldn't want to disappoint all the people that stalk me by clamming up. They might think they 'won' the internets or something, and stop sending me hate mails about how they followed me around in their store for a few hours via security camera because I bitched about them online somewhere.

And we can't have that, now, can we?
